How does Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) work with Eye-Able?

Eye-Able offers the possibility to conveniently log in via Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) at several points. This feature simplifies the login process by using your existing Microsoft login, making additional credentials unnecessary.

Requirements

Login via Microsoft SSO is only possible if this option has been enabled by the administrator for Eye-Able. Please ensure that your organization has activated Microsoft SSO access before attempting to log in via this method.

Logging in with Microsoft SSO in the Eye-Able Dashboard

  1. Open the Eye-Able Dashboard.

  2. Click on the button “Log in with Microsoft.”

  3. The usual Microsoft login window will appear. Enter your Microsoft credentials there.

  4. After a successful login, you will be automatically redirected to your Eye-Able Dashboard.

This method only works if the Microsoft SSO feature has been enabled for your account. If the login fails, please contact your administrator.

Microsoft SSO in Eye-Able Audit:

Logging in with Microsoft SSO in Chrome & Edge

  1. Open the Eye-Able Audit extension via the browser toolbar.

  2. In the login window, click on “Log in with Microsoft.”

  3. Log in with your Microsoft credentials.

  4. After a successful login, the Audit Radar icon will appear on the licensed domains, allowing you quick access to Eye-Able Audit.

  5. By clicking on the gear icon in the extension, you can open the settings and view your active licenses.

Logging in to Eye-Able Audit for Mozilla Firefox

Since Eye-Able Audit currently does not support Microsoft SSO in Mozilla Firefox, the login process differs slightly here:

  1. Open Eye-Able Audit in the Firefox Add-On Store. You can use the link in the Dashboard under the "Audit" tab.

  2. Click on “Add to Firefox” to add the Eye-Able Audit browser extension to Mozilla Firefox.

  3. A pop-up will appear, confirming the installation by clicking on “Add.”

  4. After the Eye-Able Audit extension is installed, it can be opened by clicking on the extension icon in the browser toolbar.

By clicking the gear icon and selecting the “Pin to Toolbar” menu option, Eye-Able Audit can also be pinned to the toolbar for easier access.

  1. When opening Eye-Able Audit afterward, a login window will appear. If you used Microsoft SSO to access the Eye-Able Dashboard and did not set a personal password for the dashboard, no password will be saved for the account. Instead, you can use the API key associated with the account to log in to Eye-Able Audit.

The API key can be found in the top-right corner of the Eye-Able Dashboard by clicking on the profile icon.

Summary

  • Eye-Able Dashboard: Log in directly via “Log in with Microsoft.”

  • Eye-Able Audit (Chrome & Edge): Login via the same Microsoft button after installing the extension.

  • Eye-Able Audit (Firefox): No SSO possible, login via API key required.
