Where is my data processed?

The best way to understand data processing at Eye-Able is to look at it within the product categories. A distinction must be made between the assistance software, the testing software and the translation modules.


Assistance Software

The loading option is available via:

  • your own server

  • a German server (Frankfurt)

  • or a European CDN (European provider with European servers)


Testing Software and Eye-Able Dashboard

Provided via:

  • a European Content Delivery Network (CDN)

  •  as well as APIs on servers in France (European provider)


 Translation Modules

  • Use of DeepL’s AI

  • Data is sent to servers located in the EU

  • TLS-encrypted transmission

  • Data is stored at DeepL only for the duration of the translation
