What data does Eye-Able® Translate process?
Processed Data
- The necessary files such as JavaScript, stylesheets, images and translations are loaded from an external CDN. Provider: BunnyWay d.o.o., Cesta komandanta Staneta 4A, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia.
- The translation uses the local storage of the browser to store activated translations.
- Eye-Able® primarily uses AI models from DeepL (Maarweg 165, 50825 Cologne, Germany) for translation. If DeepL is not supported, Eye-Able® falls back on Google Translate (Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4).
- Neither DeepL nor Google Translate store personal data or use the texts for training purposes.
- The AI model is accessed via API calls from our own API modules, which are hosted by Scaleway SAS (8 rue de la Ville l'Evêque, 75008 Paris, France).
No logs containing personal data are stored.
- Translation results are stored in a database cache (also hosted by Scaleway SAS) for the purpose of fulfilling the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and for the secure, fast provision of our services (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
- All data and servers remain within the EU to ensure data protection-compliant processing in accordance with the GDPR.
- Web Inclusion GmbH does not collect or analyse personal user behaviour or other personal data at any time.
- To ensure data protection compliance, order processing agreements have been concluded with our hosting providers.
