Report IP addresses
Which IP addresses does Eye-Able Report use?
In this article, you'll learn how IP addresses are used in Eye-Able Report, which static IP addresses are used when access is blocked and which alternative is available using a fixed user agent.
Causes of a failed report
If the report scan does not complete successfully, our requests may be blocked by your server, your firewall or your WAF.
Eye-Able Report uses a range of different IP addresses to run report scans. If access via these IP addresses is blocked, static IP addresses can be added to the allowlist as required.
You can find other possible causes in the following article:

Overview of static IP addresses
To run the automated checks in Report, the system uses the following static IP addresses:
Report:
163.172.163.254
51.158.127.67
Broken Links:
51.15.195.57
Debugging access for support (optional):
153.53.68.54
If this IP address isn't allowed, our support team can't reproduce your website's behaviour themselves and has to rely on your feedback.
Connection direction and ports:
All requests go out from the IP addresses listed above to your web server, on the standard ports 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS). No access needs to be granted in the opposite direction.
Only Report uses these IP addresses
Eye-Able Assist, Translate, Plain Language and Access run in the browser of your website visitors, not via the IP addresses listed above. These products don't need any IP addresses allowed.
Use a fixed user agent
As an alternative, you can enable the option "Use a fixed user agent" under "Advanced" in the Report settings. When this option is enabled, the browser's user agent is fixed and does not change during the check. You can add this user agent to the allowlist instead of the IP addresses:

The following user agent is always used: „Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, wie Gecko) Chrome/125.0.6422.142 Safari/537.36 Eye-Able Report/1.0“
