Is there a risk that scanning will be classified as a DDoS attack by our security systems?

No, when performing a scan with Eye-Able® Report, the number of requests transmitted is far too low and too slow for security systems to classify it as a DDoS attack (Distributed Denial of Service).
The load is comparable to that of fewer parallel users on the website.

Options for Securing the Scan

If there are still concerns, it is possible to whitelist the scanner's fixed IP address.
The Broken Links Scan can also be disabled if needed. Additionally, the scanner's activity can be tracked and monitored at any time. A log file containing the last IP address of the scan can be found in the Report settings under "Page Actions" and "Open Logs".

Adjusting Scan Speed

Through a support team member, it is also possible to slow down the scan speed.
