How long are translations cached? / When is the cache deleted?

Translated texts are cached in the local storage of the browser when using the Eye-Able® Translate module.

Cache Storage Duration

The stored translations remain available for 24 hours – starting from the time of the last storage. After this period, the cache is automatically deleted.

Manual Deletion by the User

End users can also delete the cache themselves by clearing the browser cache or local storage manually. This will immediately remove all translations stored locally.
