Why does Eye-Able® Assist only display a limited range of functions?

Common reasons why Eye-Able® Assist displays limited functionality

The most common causes are:

  • Missing licence for the domain
  • Problem integrating the configuration file

Important:
The licence is domain-specific and must always be stored for the page on which Assist is integrated. If the domain is incorrect or faulty, no valid licence can be found. In most cases, only a trial version with limited functionality will be loaded until the configuration file has been corrected or updated.

This also applies to subdomains or development environments. Example: If the licence was issued for test.com, there is no licence forstaging.test.com.


Error analysis:
If you are familiar with your browser's development environment, you can search for errors in the console. The variable window.location.hostname is used for the licence check.


Please check:

  • Does the integrated code match the integration code displayed in the dashboard?
  • Is the correct code being used?
