Different test results for PDFs
It may happen that a PDF shows different results depending on whether it was listed among the PDFs dected or uploaded directly in the upload area.
Cause: Time of testing
The discrepancies are usually caused by the time of testing.
To ensure the best possible results, our check software is regularly evaluated and adjusted as necessary.
If PDFs are checked at different times, this can result in different error counts, as the checks are based on different check criteria.
Difference between ‘Detected’ and ‘Upload’
- Detected PDFs: These are only automatically rechecked every 6 months, provided the document has not been changed.
- Upload: Here, the check is performed immediately using the latest version of the checking software.
