Warnings in Eye-Able® Audit and Report

What are warnings?
Warnings highlight errors that should be manually checked again or do not constitute a clear violation of the WCAG.

Examples of warnings:

  • Alt text too short
  • Italicised paragraph
  • Missing H1 heading

These errors cannot always be reliably checked automatically and must be evaluated in their respective context.

Consideration of user relevance:
The classification as a warning also takes into account how relevant the error is for real website users.

Check criteria:
The check steps are not only based on the WCAG criteria, but were also developed in collaboration with affected parties and marked accordingly.
