Responsible Handling of Information and IT Resources at Eye-Able

How does Eye-Able ensure that employees, external service providers and other authorised persons handle information and IT resources responsibly?

This article gives an overview of Eye-Able's HR security policies – from background checks and access requirements to awareness programmes and workplace security.

Overview of HR security policies

Eye-Able has documented HR security policies that fully govern recruitment, access, awareness and offboarding processes.

Risk-based background checks and employment contracts

Before employment begins, a risk-based background check is carried out in accordance with legal, ethical and assignment-related requirements.

Employees are granted access to systems and information only after signing corresponding employment contracts that contain security clauses and obligations to comply with applicable policies.

Additional separate confidentiality agreements apply to particularly sensitive areas.

Use of IT resources and security-relevant training

The use of company IT resources and work equipment is governed by acceptable use policies that are reviewed regularly.

Security-relevant training is mandatory for all employees – initially upon joining and on a regular, ongoing basis, particularly in the event of changes to processes or legal requirements.

Access rights and remote workplaces

Access rights to sensitive data are granted only after completion of the relevant awareness measures.

Remote workplaces are subject to the same protective measures as internal offices; this also applies to policies for securing unattended working environments.

Offboarding processes and security responsibility

Offboarding processes govern the return of assets, the revocation of access and the confidentiality obligation after the end of employment.

Each individual's security responsibility is anchored through clear communication of roles and tasks.
