Can Eye-Able® Audit or Eye-Able® Report switch between WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2?

Eye-Able® Audit & Eye-Able® Report – WCAG check

Eye-Able® Audit and Eye-Able® Report always check the latest revision of the WCAG guidelines. Changes to the WCAG are usually incorporated into national legislation in a timely manner, making your website future-proof.

We always ensure that the revision used is backward compatible with the legal requirements. Pages that are WCAG 2.2 compliant are therefore automatically WCAG 2.1 compliant.

We point out individual changes, such as:

  • The omission of WCAG chapter 4.1 ‘Parsing’ in WCAG 2.2.

Switching the checked level

The check can only be switched in the audit within the various WCAG levels:

  • A
  • AA
  • AAA

This change can be made using the drop-down menu in the toolbar.

Note on the report

Since Report checks your domain for full compliance with WCAG, a change to the scan is not planned.

However, you have the option of filtering the report for specific errors and standardisations.
