How do I transfer changes from the dashboard to my website using the Assist WordPress plugin?
In this article, you’ll learn how to properly apply changes from the Eye-Able Dashboard to your WordPress website when Assist is integrated locally via the WordPress plugin.
You can find instructions for installing Assist locally using the WordPress plugin here:

Why is it necessary to update the configuration file?
If you've made changes in the Eye-Able Configurator in the dashboard and are using the Eye-Able Assist WordPress plugin (local hosting), you'll need to reset the plugin settings for the new configuration to take effect.
This will load the updated configuration from the dashboard and apply it to your WordPress website.
Update Configuration File
To load the latest configuration file, please follow these steps:
- Open the Eye-Able plugin settings.
- Click on the ‘Reset settings’ button.
Important: If you have made any custom settings in the plugin, save them first so that you can re-enter them after resetting.
Note
We generally recommend making all adjustments to Eye-Able Assist directly in the dashboard configurator rather than in the WordPress plugin settings.
