Does the Integration of Eye-Able® Software Affect the Performance of a Website?

The integration of our software into the header has only a minimal impact on the performance of the website and should not affect the Lighthouse score.

The use of the "async" attribute ensures that scripts are loaded in parallel with the rest of the page, without blocking the page's rendering process. This means that our software is only initialized once the page has fully loaded.

Alternatively, for Eye-Able® Assist, there is the "Dynamic Loading" integration option. In this case, the majority of Assist is only loaded when the user clicks on the icon. This ensures that the page load for users who do not use Assist remains unaffected.
