Does Eye-Able Assist use cookies?

This article explains how Eye-Able handles data protection and what data is processed from a technical standpoint.

Data protection at Eye-Able

Eye-Able does not collect any personal user data and does not use cookies. All user settings are stored in the local memory of the user's browser.

When accessing Eye-Able via our server network, data from the HTTPS request is collected for technical reasons, e.g. IP address, browser and similar. However, the IP address is anonymised immediately (all digits are removed) and is never stored in full in our server logs.

In order to inform users that an external service is being used, we recommend adding a note to the cookie banner and listing Eye-Able® under technically necessary.

You can find an addition to your privacy policy in the Eye-Able dashboard under Assist’ / ‘Data Privacy’.
