Can Audit be used locally?

 Yes, Audit can be used locally. It runs as a browser extension and can also be used to test locally hosted websites, provided that a valid license is available.

• Audit works locally in your browser without requiring a permanent connection to our servers

• A connection to our servers is only established for:

  • Login

  • License verification

  • Use of the optional Ally AI feature

• Locally hosted websites can be tested with Audit if they are licensed

• Licensing IP addresses for “localhost” is not possible, as each license must be uniquely assigned to a unique domain
