How can I hide the Assist icon when using the browser extension for employees?
Overview
You can manage the Eye-Able Assist browser extension in various ways. You have the option to either disable or uninstall it in the browser, turn it off on individual pages, or completely hide the icon.
Disable or Uninstall the Browser Extension
Through your browser's extension management, you can disable or uninstall Eye-Able Assist at any time.

In Google Chrome, click on the puzzle icon next to the address bar.

Select Manage Extensions to go to the overview page.

From there, you can completely disable or uninstall Eye-Able Assist.
Disable the Extension on Individual Pages
If you do not want to completely disable the extension but only for a specific page:

Click on the puzzle icon.

Select the Eye-Able Assist extension.

In the pop-up window, click on "Don't run Eye-Able".
This will set an exception so that Assist is not active on the current website.
Hide the Assist Icon
If you only want to hide the Assist icon without disabling the extension:

Click on the Assist icon and open the toolbar.

Go to the settings via the gear icon.

Enable the option "Hide Eye-Able for me".
The icon will no longer be shown in the browser, but you can still open and use the toolbar anytime by pressing the shortcut Alt + 1.
