How does character usage work when multiple users translate the same website into the same language?
When multiple users (e.g., three different people) translate the same text content of a website into the same language, the character usage is only counted once.
Background:
All texts and translations are stored in a database. If a text has already been translated, the system recognizes the identical content and uses the stored translation. No new translation is triggered – and therefore, no additional character quota is consumed.
