What is the local storage used for in Eye-Able Assist?

Settings made by a user in Assist are stored anonymously in the browser's local storage.
This data is never transferred externally.
This means that settings remain active on subpages and the next time the page is visited.
Users can delete the local storage at any time by clearing the browser data (cookies, website data and cache).
