Which errors in the report should be addressed first?
Recommendation for prioritising errors in the report
We recommend starting with the errors that are weighted most heavily in the report, i.e. those that have the greatest impact on the overall accessibility rating. Critical errors, such as missing alternative text, are weighted more heavily than warning notices, for example.
Overview table ‘Problems’ in the dashboard
- The ‘Problems’ overview table in the dashboard can be sorted in descending order according to the impact of the errors and then processed.
Fix frequent errors first
It also makes sense to fix errors that occur very frequently first, for example in the navigation. To do this, you can use the ‘Most frequent problems’ table in the ‘Problems’ section of the dashboard.
Focus on important pages
As a rule, it makes sense to start editing the most frequently used and most important pages and thus address the errors according to typical user behaviour.
