Overall Score Percentage in the Dashboard

What Result Is Good, Realistically Achievable, and Legally Required?

This article explains how to interpret the overall score percentage in the dashboard and what results are legally required or realistically achievable.

Meaning of the Percentage in the Dashboard

The percentage shown in the overall rating in the Dashboard indicates how accessible your website is based on the automated assessment. Only the test steps that can be performed within the Report scan are taken into account. You can find an overview in the Dashboard.

For more information, see the article WCAG Coverage of the Eye-Able Testing Software.

What Does a High Percentage Mean?

A good result is one that comes as close as possible to 100%. In theory, full compliance (100%) with WCAG Level AA is achievable. Once you have reached 100%, all test steps included in the rating have been fully met.

Focus on Critical Errors

Fixing all critical issues at WCAG Levels A and AA is especially important, as these represent basic accessibility requirements within the framework of legislation. WCAG Level AAA and best practices go beyond the required level of conformance.

Legal Requirements

Legally required are:

  • 100% in the automated audit report (Level A and AA)
  • The full implementation of the test steps that have to be carried out manually (included in the guided tests)
