New issues after PDF improvement
Why does a PDF show different issues after improvement than in the original?
After a PDF improvement, a PDF may show new or different issues than before. This article explains why.
Cause: missing tags in the original
In most cases, the original document was not tagged.
- Untagged PDF: Elements such as headings, paragraphs or tables are not marked as such.
- After the improvement: The PDF is tagged, so its structures and content are marked correctly.
Result of the tagging structure
With the new structure, the PDF scan in Eye-Able Report can detect additional or different errors that were not visible in the original document. These errors only become visible once the content is tagged.
